Ice Ice Baby

Got some ice from the storm last night, could have been much worse here for sure. Getting mostly rain now but more snow and ice are in the forecast for tonight and tomorrow. We are now under a flood watch for the entire area. I have a small post over at Kentucky Preppers Network with another picture of the ice here. If you get a chance take a look. As for now all is well and we are warm and dry and very well fed. lol I'll keep you all updated as the storm progress.

Its been sleeting here all day long. We have at least 3 to 4 inches of the stuff on the ground right now. They say we're suppose to get snow next. Hope everyone there will be ok.

Stay warm,
Debbie

Well we're in the throes of this storm now too. We're supposed to get up to 8" of snow by tomorrow afternoon. I'm thrilled....really.

Glad everything is ok at the Johnson homestead--we've got the cold (heard it was something like 29 below here yesterday) but not currently in the midst of a storm, fortunately. Hope the flood thing remains a warning or watch, and the whole thing just gives you more moisture in the end...stay warm!

No ice, no snow, just a few sprinkles of rain so far. Supposed to be 67 today! That's been the norm here lately...

You stay warm, my friends!

Debbie, We had all that nasty stuff too, I hate it all but the snow. I love snow but hate the cold that goes with it. Stay warm and let me know how you're doing please.

Christy, It could have been much worse for sure. It's still nasty out though.

Amy, I seen on radar where it was heading your way. Stay warm and keep baking,,lol

Gen, the ice really is pretty. Most of the trees are covered and it's a beautiful site.

Marie, thanks, we have sure got plenty of water from this thing. The ground is full of water and my pond is overflowing like crazy.

Hermit Jim, gotta love that Texas weather, send me some.

Kymber, you better put another log on the fire then honey. lol I'm not a Vannila Ice fan by NOT MEANS...lol Just can't seem to get that song out of my head today.

Thank you all for your comments, I love to hear from each of you.

Chris
