Too Cold to do anything else

Just look at these precious little kids all snuggled up together in the barn. Priceless !!

Daisy is introducing Eve and Scout to their father, Chief. "Hey Dad wanna play??"

Eve and Scout are both eating anything and everything a goat would or could eat. They are only a little more than 3 weeks old now, that's gotta be a good sign.

Chief beat me to the gate in his pen today so I just let him graze for a while. He's not going anywhere when there are 3 does near by...Kinda like me..LOL

I had a few branches to break due to the weight of the ice. Goats love pine needles as you can see, they will eat the bark off the branches too.

Eve is always eager to pose for a picture, she's such a pretty little thing.

Muscovy's on the prowl always looking for something to eat. These things can eat more than any animal I have.

When it's cold enough to freeze the pond over like this.....

I'm sure glad I have this. This baby is a '97 model with 212,000 miles on it and it's still the best vehicle we own. But that's just my opinion..the girls seem to think the HHR is the best one. As you can see the van is just sitting there and has been since we bought the HHR. Oh well, it's there when we need it I guess.

I drive a '95 and Mike drives a '96, both Toyota pickups. They're holding up and PAID for.

Everybody at your place looks comfy.

Our chickens go through more food than our goats.

Those kids have the right idea! When it's cold outside it's best to just snuggle up with your friends and sleep. I wish we were neighbors. I'd come over and play with those cute little goats!

Shiloh, thanks, they really are pretty. Wasnt' sure how they would turn out but we are pleased.

Joanna, when cars are paid for they drive so much better I think. I hate having any kind of debt, don't have very much but I still don't like it. Thank you much.

Amy, thanks and I would love to have you for a neighbor. You always have something baking...lol

Ken, it is nice to have some fun in this mess of a world we live in, helps keep me sane.

Hey Gen, thanks, we are having a great time with these new kids here on the farm.

Thank you all for your comments.

Chris

I'm glad to see you posting. That means you didn't succumb to the ice age. I had a grand cherokee once, I really liked it. I wish I still had it.

Don, we're still here buddy. Snowing like crazy now. Glad to have my Jeep. lol

Warren, I love our van, it's an 05 Dodge Grand Caravan and has a ton of room. We just don't use it much any more though. Hate to get rid of it, may need it later. Make a good Bug Out Vehicle.

Amity, thank you. We love these little babbies, but then again we are animal lovers of just about any kind. LOL

Linda, all is well here, still snowing today though and more tomorrow. I got a good fire going and it feels great.

Hey Mama, thanks. Our dog Smokie has been having a ball on the pond. He looks so funny out there running around. I'll try to get some pics of him on it.

Thank you all for stopping by to check on us. We are doing fine. Getting snow now and more for tomorrow but it sure is pretty. No school tomorrow either. I get back to posting just as soon as something other than snow and cold happens...I want in the garden...
